The Ark Community Church is a Christ-centred fellowship of believers.
We meet on Sunday mornings in Bedmond Village Hall, Bedmond, Abbots Langley.
Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Psalm 127:1
At The Ark, we believe that our God wants to build His church His way.
We realise that our agendas are meaningless unless they are prompted by His Spirit. We seek to yield whole-heartedly to God’s ways and see His Kingdom come not only in our lives, but also in those we meet and the community we serve.
Jesus, Son of God, Light of the world has come. Through His life, death and resurrection He demonstrated love and obedience to what Father God desired, and in so doing, brought forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe.
We recognise that God’s gift of the Holy Spirit has been given to us and equips us to live as Jesus did – as powerful sons and daughters serving the purposes of our Father.
For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. Romans 11:36
Coronavirus Update – 21 April 2020
We believe that our God is a loving and faithful God and will protect His people. However, scripture is clear that we must submit ourselves to the governing authorities and The Ark leadership is abiding by the advice issued by Her Majesty’s Government and no longer meeting in person. During this time, our unity and fellowship must continue. We therefore continue to meet, albeit virtually, for worship and fellowship. Details of these meetings, together with other resources to help you through these times are given on our “Resources” page.
If you are a visitor to this website and would like us to pray for you, then please email us using the prayer contact form.
We believe in the power of prayer and, in line with other churches, we are asking that you use this time to earnestly pray for our nation and for the world. In particular, pray that God will use this outbreak for his purposes and that the nations will turn back to Him.
This notice will be updated as the situation changes. In the meantime, we may not be able to attend church but we can attend to Him – He who is over all things and in whom we will have the victory.
We bless you.
